During my 18 years on the Somerville Board of Aldermen, I have been intimately involved in the drafting and evaluation of a number of proposed zoning ordinances for the City. I have also made numerous appearances before the Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Board discussing whether proposed development projects complied with the Somerville Zoning Ordinance.
Of course, because of a conflict of interest, I cannot represent clients with regard to the Somerville Zoning Ordinance or before any of Somerville's Boards. I can, however, represent individuals who have zoning issues in other communities. This representation could included proposed developments, variance requests, special permits, or neighbors who may be impacted by proposed development projects in their community.
